Welcome to Main Street Bed and Breakfast

208 East Main Street, in downtown
Glasgow, Kentucky

Located just one block off the downtown square in Glasgow, Kentucky, the historic Dickinson-Greer House takes you back in time. The weary traveler or history enthusiast will feel at home, sleeping in comfort, in a 200-year-old house, featuring delicious breakfasts from around the world each morning, before taking in the many attractions near us such as Mammoth Cave National Park, Bowling Green Corvette Museum, Barren River Lake and more.

The Dickinson-Greer House had been the private residence of Delvaux Dickinson Greer before being established as a bed and breakfast in 2010. Thanks to Karin and Gary Carroll who renovated and decorated the house into a bed and breakfast. I bought the business from them in October 2018.

I would like to welcome you to the Dickinson-Greer Bed and Breakfast and look forward to hosting you!

Rooms spacious yet cozy with a homelike touch! Food outstanding! Hostess was amazing! I definitely would recommend Main Street. THE ONLY PLACE TO STAY IN GLASGOW. Simply the best!" Ron

"This was my first stay at Main Street B&B and my boyfriend’s second stay. Cherie had a nice note for us and set up for a late night arrival. She left us a note on a requested breakfast time since our arrival was so late. The room was gorgeous and very comfortable. This place is a gem and you’re missing out if you do not stay here." Kari

"I love having this treasure in our small town. Kate and I got to stay there last night and we loved it. We got to meet some new people with amazing stories! Cherie Vaughan is awesome, she even went above and beyond by making me gluten free pancakes for breakfast! <3 No need to go far away to relax and be pampered, just look in our own back yard. " Lisa

“Cherie’s place is very much like “coming home”. The immediate vibe is warm, authentic, familial, and kind. Super clean. We walked to a local place for dinner per Cherie’s recommendation and it was just perfect for our family. The house is over 200 years old and that means it has character and a few squeaky floor boards. The air conditioning was brilliant, the farm breakfast DELICIOUS, and the grounds charming. We spent one night and my 3 year old cried when we left because she enjoyed her time with Lulu and Miss Cherie so much!!! I typically like more modern trendy air bnb’s but I’m gonna hang out with Cherie if we pass through Glasgow again.”

We got Married and decided to book a stay here for one night of some peace and quiet and we’re below away by the place! It was such a beautiful building and so well taken care of, especially considering it’s 200 years old! The history was fun to read about, and the host was so pleasant! She made the most amazing Huevo rancheros for breakfast. What an amazing cook and such an unexpectedly good experience being our first bed and breakfast stay. Met another friendly couple at breakfast and chatted for a while. Overall great stay.

Cherrie our host was so friendly and helpful! She recommended restaurants and both of the ones we tried were fantastic! She was very nice and we enjoyed getting to know her story during our delicious morning breakfasts! The town was also a delight!
